A BIG LRI Thank You for your Support on #401Gives

Thank you to everyone who generously gave to LRI on #401Gives. Your support ensures that we can continue to provide opportunities to diverse cohorts of current and future leaders that will result in individual development, organizational change, and collective statewide impact!
#401’Gives organized by the United Way of Rhode Island, inspired nearly 16,000 donors to raise more than $3.7 Million for 597 nonprofit organizations across the state! With your support, 143 champions representing 34 classes raised more than $20,000 in support of Leadership Rhode Island!
As #401Gives approached, we got a sneak peek of who LRI alumni were donating to at LRI’s Inspiring Leaders Awards Luncheon with KZP on the Mic! (Kristin Zosa Puleo, LRI’s Director of Alumni Engagement and Development)
Also in preparation for “401’s Hottest Day of Giving” Chris Donovan, LRI’s Director of Events and Communications, ate some SPICY chicken and interviewed 6 LRI alumni who work at non-profits throughout the state! Thank you to Jessica Barry (2024 Upsilon II) of the United Way of Rhode Island, Luca Carvenale (2021 Rho II) of Hope & Main, Sam Cullen-Fry (2022 Sigma II) of the Tomaquag Museum, Gem Marley (2020 Pi II) of Haus of Codec, Lisa Ranglin (2013 Iota II) of the Rhode Island Black Business Association, and Devashi Ved (2022 CLRI) of DesignxRI for joining us, sharing about your organizations, and embracing the heat!
Speaking of embracement, thank you to Louie Barroso (2023 Tau II) for joining us for the LRI 401Gives Tiny Lounge Spoken Word Experience!
And we can’t forget KZP’s 401Gives Cast Reports highlighting and updating viewers during the entire 2 days of #401Gives!
